Knights

“So, what do you hear about this princess we will be serving?” Marc said with poorly disguised disgust. “What is she intending to do? Overthrow her parents?” He tore a chunk of meat off with his teeth.

Lucas choked on his drink and gazed at his friend in shock. “You don't know?” he was incredulous. His surprise dissolved into a chuckle. “Same old Marc. How did you know you'd even be fighting for a worthy cause?”

Marc smiled with a shrug. “I test things as I go, you know that.” He clapped the other knight on the shoulder, “Besides, if you are here I must have chosen well.”

Lucas laughed, “One of these days you will get yourself blindly into a situation and not be able to get out of it. I hope to be there when it happens.”

Marc tossed his head back in a laugh. “Such compassion.”

“What are friends for?”

Lucas has the blond hair and Marc has the black.

These are two characters from a story I'm writing. I decided to do an experiment of drawing my own characters more realistically. We will see how it goes.

There are things wrong with this that I don't feel are necessary to point out. You may do so if you wish, but I probably know already. ^_^
